“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” 1 Chronicles 29:14, NIV.
Today is Rivers Baptist Conference Development Sunday, a day in which we promote the cooperative work between the Conference and the Baptist church in the state.
As we gather to support this noble cause, let us reflect on King David's words. He recognized that everything we have comes from God, and our generosity is a response to His blessings. Just as the Israelites gave generously towards the building of the temple, we too have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of God's kingdom in our Conference.
Let us give with grateful hearts, acknowledging that our resources are not our own, but God's. May our offerings be a testament to our faith and trust in His provision.

Offerings, Tithes and Give
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10)
Giving is not just about sacrifice. It is God’s way of ritually introducing us into the flow of sowing and reaping that is the subcurrent of his creation. Participate in the harvest that God has for us by sowing your gift with him today.
